KINGSTON, Jamaica - In what continues to be a battle for the ages, jockey Raddesh Roman regained the lead in the race for the jockeys’ championship over Tevin Foster when he piloted the Phillip Elliott trained Oil Machine to victory in race five of nine on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
Roman started the day three ahead of Foster, with the latter riding a triple to level the score after four races. The win on Oil Machine pushes Roman ahead yet again.
Oil Machine won a three-year-old non-two going a mile, with Lucy In The Sky (Tevin Foster) second, and The General (Dane Dawkins) third.
