Radam, a three-year-old grey colt bred locally, achieved his first victory after 12 attempts by convincingly winning a maiden condition race at Caymanas Park on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
Under the training of Anthony Nunes and ridden by jockey Tevin Foster, Radam (Successful Native – Lynnie) produced a strong run racing over 5 furlongs straight and by a margin of 5 ½ lengths.
The race commenced with a competitive start as Kencia (Javaniel Patterson), Radam, and Lady Sarsutta (Samantha Fletcher) jostled for the lead. As the competitors neared the final two furlongs (400m), Radam made a decisive move to take the lead, extending his advantage impressively before crossing the finish line in a time of 1:00.2 (24.2 x 47.1).
Lady Sarsutta claimed second place, while Military Light (Raddesh Roman) took home third.
