The Overnight for the race meet on Saturday, November 30, 2024, has been released, featuring the return of former champion jockey, Dane Nelson. After a stellar season primarily at the Century Mile race track in Canada, Nelson is poised to grace the track once again.
According to the Overnight, with the race order still subject to adjustment pending the final program release tomorrow, November 27, Nelson is scheduled to ride three horses. In the third race, he will mount Casual Peach, trained by Winchester McIntosh.
He will take on the ninth race aboard First Offense, from the stable of Patrick Lynch, followed by the tenth race where he’ll pilot Pineapple, also under Lynch’s training.
Adding to the excitement, Nelson confirmed his commitment to compete at the prestigious Mouttet Mile on December 7 through a paid advertisement in last weekend’s official race program.
