In doing so, Roman extended his lead in the jockeys’ championship over nearest rival Tevin Foster to four.
In the day's first race, Roman guided Bad Investment to an easy success.
Finishing second behind Sensational Satin was Sheer To Ben (2-1), with Stanislaus (7-1) occupying the third slot.
Both of Roman’s winners Bad Investment and Sensational went off at long odds, 9-1 and 12-1 respectively.
