Fearless Soul, a four-year-old chestnut colt trained by Philip Feanny, stunned everyone by winning the Harlequin Trophy on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

Ridden by jockey Paul Francis, Fearless Soul was not the favourite but still managed to win the race, leaving Sensational Move and Madelyn's Sunshine behind.

The race, which was for three-year-olds and older horses, covered a distance of 5 furlongs straight, and Fearless Soul finished in an impressive 59.3 seconds (23.4 x 46.4).

Feanny mentioned that Fearless Soul has always shown great potential but has some behavioural issues. He also highlighted that Fearless Soul has always performed well in 5-furlong straight races.

As for Fearless Soul's future races, Feanny expressed uncertainty and said that he is still deciding on the colt's next move.

During the race, Fearless Soul initially stayed behind the leaders but then surged forward, overtaking the competition in the last stretch with an impressive burst of speed, ultimately winning the race convincingly.
