KINGSTON, Jamaica - On Sunday, October 6, 2024, the seventh race in is for locally bred three-year-olds, non-winners of two horses, and maiden three-year-old foreigners.
The race covers a distance of five furlongs round and features a small field of six horses.
Here's an analysis by The Quick Galloper of the horses entered in the race.
1 - ABREATHOFFRESHAIR - A bay colt (born on March 12) by Perfect Curlin out of City Flight, trained by Phillip Lee with Samantha Fletcher riding. Although still trying to compete in non-two races, ABREATHOFFRESHAIR is making progress and is expected to perform well.
2 - UNDISCLOSED LOCATION - A bay colt (born on February 15) by Casual Trick out of Bilingual, trained by Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster as the jockey. UNDISCLOSED LOCATION won on debut (May 10) and has been learning from his five starts. With the visor now on, a good effort is expected.
3 - DI MIRACLE ANGEL - A chestnut filly (born on January 4) by Berlino Di Tiger out of Myangel, trained by Robert Pearson with Victor Sanchez aboard. DI MIRACLE ANGEL finished third in a close race last time and has shown a preference for the straight course. However, she might find it challenging to come around the bend.
4 - PRINCE AMAAN - A chestnut colt (born on February 23) by Sensational Slam out of Fashionista, trained by Anthony Nunes with Omar Walker as the jockey. PRINCE AMAAN is a straight specialist and has been consistent. With the opportunity to race against moderate rivals, success is expected.
5 - BATTLE ANGEL - A chestnut filly (born on May 18) by Bern Identity out of Angel Dreams, trained by Anthony Nunes, with Rudolph listed as the designated rider. BATTLE ANGEL is difficult to assess at the moment.
6- RIDE NATTY RIDE - A chestnut colt (born on February 22) by Hedge Fund out of She’s Is Calling, trained by Dale Murphy with Phillip Parchment riding. RIDE NATTY RIDE can be ruled out from consideration.
