KINGSTON, Jamaica - After finishing second in her last three starts, three-year-old chestnut filly, Out On A Limb went one better to release the maiden tag in the Pick-3 Simple Ting Fi Win Trophy over seven furlongs (1,400m).
Out On A Limb (Who’s Stayin On – Storm Watch) with apprentice Reyan Lewis in the irons, got a good break from the off to be in second place behind Super Amia (Samantha Fletcher) who was ridden to take up the lead.
Approaching the five-furlong point, Out On A Limb took over but was quickly joined by Unknown Soldier (Aaron Chatrie) at the half-mile and the two began to draw away from the field.
Turning for home, Out On A Limb accelerated and powered home to score by five lengths ahead of Sweet Surprise (Christopher Mamdeen) and Super Amia in a time of 1:26.4. Out On A Limb is trained by Wayne Parchment.
