KINGSTON, Jamaica - Following the disclosure by the regulatory arm of racing, the Jamaica Racing Commission that Snowflakes had been disqualified from first place on July 8, 2023, for racing with a prohibited substance, jockey Reyan Lewis and trainer Jason DaCosta have both earned unexpected victories.
With the disqualification of Snowflakes, the race was awarded to Fault Line, then ridden by Lewis and trained by DaCosta. Snowflakes was piloted by Tevin Foster and trained by Colin Ferguson.
The revised placings of the event are as follows:
First - Fault Line
Second - Big Argument
Third - Sure Curlin
Fourth - Tocatbetheglory
Fifth - Thegoodlife
Snowflakes - Disqualified
