KINGSTON, Jamaica – The race for the owners’ championship got even closer a short while ago when one of the main contenders Michros (Michael Bernard) got a one-two finish in the sixth race on today’s (Saturday, November 30) card at Caymanas Park. The other major contender for the title is Carlton Watson.

In a thrilling contest down the five straight course, Bold Aflair (Christopher Mamdeen – 5-1) and Duke (Robert Halledeen – 5-1) finished first and second. Bold Aflair is trained by Gary Subratie and Duke by Richard Azan.

When the horses reached the main track, any of six could have won this Restricted Stakes event for three-year-olds and upwards, but it was Mamdeen and Bold Aflair who eventually got the job done.

Third went to 56-1 shot, Casual Drink who is also trained by Subratie.
