KINGSTON, Jamaica – With his visits to the winners’ enclosure curtailed in the last two months, leading rider, apprentice Christopher Mamdeen got the job done efficiently on Queenoftheharbour in the day’s sixth race which was a $450,000 - $400,000 claimer for three-year-olds and upwards run over 7 ½ furlongs.

It was Cohete del Exito (Shamarre Muir -10-1) who took off with a mad rush when the gates opened followed by Stallwaking’girl (Anthony Thomas - 18-1) and Queenoftheharbour.

Passing the four-furlong marker, Mamdeen pushed the Donovan Plummer trainee in front and that was that for the other runners as Hot Ice was a declared a late non-starter lame.

Queenoftheharbour won by 6 ¾ lengths at odds of 6-5 over Phineas (Reyan Lewis) and Choete del Exito in that order.

The winning time was 1:33.4 for the distance travelled.
