KINGSTON, Jamaica – After suffering from various health issues, Extruder – a three-year-old chestnut colt by Adore The Gold – Mama Blossom returned to competitive racing after an eight-month break to win the sixth of nine races on the Saturday programme a short while ago at Caymanas Park.

Ridden by Omar Walker and trained by Spencer Chung, Extruder went to the lead in the 6 ½ furlongs - Restricted Allowance 11 for three-year-olds non-winners of two run over 6 ½ furlongs.

In the final furlong, Walker had to pull out all the stops as Extruder started to weaken as Milkman (Robert Halledeen 9/1) and Free Addi (Chris Mamdeen – 7/1) challenged relentlessly.

In the end Extruder and Walker held on to win by half-a-length over Milkman with Free Addi in the third spot.

The winning time was 1:20.3 with Chung getting his second winner on the Saturday card.
