KINGSTON, Jamaica - The first of three races for horses bought in the Yearling Sale unfolds on Saturday (November 9) over 5 ½ furlongs with Wow Wow seeking another big payday. Wow Wow comes up against six other rivals in this two-year-old contest. This race is sponsored by the Betting

The analysis of the seven starters is provided below.

BASCILICUS: (2-y-o dkb f – Performing Magic – Regency) – Made her first start just last week and did nothing to excite. Bascilicus is an obvious filler.

OLD WHARF: (2-y-o b c – Bridled Quest – Mom Rules) – Olde Wharf has raced three times already and has done little to enhance her status.

ANOTHER COMMANDER: (2-y-o ch g – Sensational Slam – Diamond Princess) – Came to the races on September 11 and was much thought about, but Another Commander has so far failed to deliver.

SENCITY: (2-y-o dkb f – Sensational Slam – City Train) – Came to the track for the first time last week, finishing fifth behind Fearless Champion. No improvement is therefore envisaged in this one.

NIPSTER: (2-y-o b g – Casual Trick – Nippit) – Made an auspicious debut on October 19 over the same distance of tomorrow’s race. The time of 1:06.1 recorded by Nipster gave evidence that he is a talented sort with much more to give. Nipster would be the overwhelming favourite to win this one if Wow Wow was not around. Don’t ever take your eyes off Nipster in the future, as his owner stares down a one-two finish.

WOW WOW: (2-y-o b c – Casual Trick – Sarah Barracuda) – The undisputed king of the juveniles who now seeks his fifth consecutive victory here, which should be a walk in the park.

ABOVE AND BEYOND: (2-y-o ch f – Blue Pepsi Lodge – Rumble) – Finished fourth on debut on October 19 over seven lengths behind the winner Nipster. There will be no reversal of that placing tomorrow.
