KINGSTON, Jamaica - Former top apprentice Prince “Daggerman” Holder who has finally found some form as a fully fledged jockey, rode a spanking race to get home Leekout in the fourth race on the Saturday card.

Racing in an Optional Claimer ($650,000 - $600,000) for three-year-olds and upwards going a mile, Holder and Leekout were slowly out of the gates as Diosa De Oro (Reyan Lewis) and Biblical Legend (Carlos Blake) paved the early way.

Entering the straight Biblical Legend was in front with Leekout way behind in the second to last slot among the field of eight runners.

With Holder pumping for all he was worth, Leekout out on the wide outside started to eat up the ground as Coralando (Oneil Mullings) took over the lead with a furlong left in the event.

In a driving finish it was Leekout and Holder just being able to get the nose  in front. Corlando was second and Key Witness (Anthony Thomas) third.

The winning margin was a nose and the winning time recorded was 1:40.3 for the distance of a mile.
