KINGSTON, Jamaica - In a race in which leading trainer Anthony Nunes saddled five of the seven runners it was one of the other starters Superluminal who emphatically took home the Fontainbleu Trophy a short while ago at Caymanas Park.

The Fontainbleu Trophy was an Open Allowance event for three-year-olds and upwards going a distance of 7 ½ furlongs.

In the field of seven it was 12-1 outsider Bruce Wayne (Aaron Chatrie) who took the lead followed by an easy going Superluminal with Omar Walker doing the riding honours.

At this stage Triple Crown winner Supreme Soul (Shane Ellis) raced alongside Superluminal.

Walker then asked the now fully in flight Superluminal to go as they went by the three-furlong marker and the seven-year-old bay horse entered the straight with the lead and was never challenged, winning by a length and a half.

Bruce Wayne held for second with Dontae third.

Triple winner Supreme Soul running 15 days after the Superstakes was never a winning factor and eventually finished off the board.

Superluminal recorded a time of 1:31.1.
