KINGSTON, Jamaica – Prince Dominick gave jockey Shane Ellis and trainer Junior Small victory in the fourth race at The Park a short while ago.

Breaking his maiden tag in a three-year-old maiden contest run over seven furlongs, Prince Dominick even after seemingly clipping heels when travelling around the half-mile turn with leader Ashley’s Glory, ran away from rivals to win his first race.

The seven-furlong contest was reduced to eight starters after number 7 Cry Cry Baby (Jordan Barrett) and #8 Lyceum (Jemar Jackson) were declared late non-starters at the gates.

The victory by Prince Dominick by 3 ½ lengths continued the winning trend thus far for favourites after the running of four races on today card.

The second was won by Adonis at 3-5, and the third by Uncle Wal at even money.

Prince Dominick clocked 1:21.3 for the distance.

Second was Kiah (Dane Dawkins 8-5) and third went to Emma’s Pet (Samantha Fletcher) at odds of 5-2.
