KINGSTON, Jamaica - Atlantic Blue made it four wins from eight starts when he outduelled a stubborn Kalahari to take the fifth race on the Sunday card at Caymanas Park.

The race – a Restricted Allowance 11 for four-year-olds non- winners of four and imported horses - non-winners of three over a distance of 6 ½ furlongs, got off half-an-hour past the designated post-time because of what was described as technical difficulties. At the start, Kalahari (Reyan Lewis 16-1) went off in front of rivals with Jammin and Graydon close by.

Meanwhile, Atlantic Blue (Roger Hewitt 8-5) trained by Fitznahum Williams was tucked into the fourth spot.

Kalahari disposed of Jammin to enter the straight in front but with Atlantic Blue on the inside rails poised to challenge.

Hewitt had to use all of his skill as Atlantic Blue started to dart to his right and then left but the young and strong apprentice was able to solve the problem winning in the end by two lengths.

Kalahari held for second with Graydon third.

Atlantic Blue won at odds of 8-5.
