KINGSTON, Jamaica – Despite a torrid trip, Tricky One used his class to get the better of rivals in the fifth of 10 races on the Saturday programme at Caymanas Park.

Racing in a RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE II (3YOS/NW2 , 1820M/9FURLONGS&25YARDS, Tricky One was hampered while travelling down the backstretch but the young apprentice on board Reyan Lewis did not hurry his mount, preferring instead to move down slowly as his stablemate San Siro led the race.

Slowly but surely, Tricky One got into the act, getting close to the leaders entering the straight.

Then using his superior staying ability, Tricky One pulled away from Blood Fire (Shane Ellis) with the minimum amount of fuss.

Blood Fire was second with Purple Wayne third.

The winning time for nine furlongs and 25 yards was 1:57.3.
