KINGSTON, Jamaica – On Saturday, December 16, the eighth race will feature the Will In Charge Trophy for three-year-olds and up, covering a mile.

The race, honouring one of the most exceptional local thoroughbreds, has attracted ten horses.

Find Quick Galloper's assessment of the runners below, presented in draw order.

1 – BABYLIKE: After a disappointing performance in the Chairman's Trophy on December 2, now seeks redemption. This after keeping pace in Overnight Allowance races. With a two-week break and a more favourable distance, Babylike is likely to secure a place on the board.

2 – GAMBLER: Despite consistent efforts, Gambler has not shown significant progress in this grade. This trend is expected to continue on Saturday.

3 – D HEAD CORNERSTONE: D Head Cornerstone finished an admirable third by a head behind Rainsville and Neo Star on December 2 (nine furlongs and 25 yards). With a mile distance well-suited to his abilities and strong morning form, D Head Cornerstone is the top choice for the Will In Charge Trophy.

4 – FURTHER AND BEYOND: Lately inconsistent, it remains unclear which version of Further And Beyond will appear on Saturday. If fit and ready, victory could be easily within reach.

5 – UNRULY BOSS: As a recent entry into Overnight races, Unruly Boss still has much to learn.

6 – SISTREN TREASURE: This consistent imported filly has placed in eight out of her last ten starts. After an impressive fourth-place finish on December 2 within only two lengths of the lead trio, Sistren Treasure is well-suited for the Will In Charge's distance and deserves strong consideration.

7 – REGAL AND ROYAL: Can likely be dismissed from the competition.

8 – SONNY T AND CHIPPY: Adjusting to the Overnight Allowance class, Sonny T and Chippy did not perform well in the Chairman's Trophy on December 2. A rough journey in that two-turn race could impact the outcome.

9 – REAL BOSS: This imported filly has taken her time reaching Overnight status and may require additional patience.

10 – OUTBIDDER: Outbidder's unsuccessful attempt at Open Allowance on December 2 requires a return to her designated class. She will need to make every step count to achieve victory in this race.
