AMERICAN TAP, trained by Howard Jaghai, cantered on Saturday and clocked a quick 5½-furlong spin in 1:06.3 on Sunday (Nov 26). Jaghai expressed satisfaction with the performance and stated that most likely Tevin Foster would ride his horse.

ATOMICA, another favourite with a strong chance of winning the Mouttet Mile, logged four furlongs in an easy 48.4 seconds on Sunday. Trainer Gary Subratie confirmed that Atomica had completed her preparation in good condition. Regular jockey Dane Dawkins will be in the saddle. Another Subratie trainee, D Head Cornerstone, also galloped on Sunday, finishing three furlongs in 40 seconds.
