KINGSTON, Jamaica – After another thrilling victory in the 9 ½ furlong Jamaica Cup on Saturday, November 11, 2023, Atomica is now set to compete in the one-mile Mouttet Mile on December 2.

That is not all in 2023 for this filly packed with exuberant class and quality.

Atomica's owner, Don Wehby, outlined the plan for his filly.

"Following her impressive win in the Jamaica Cup, provided she remains fit and healthy, Atomica will race in the Mouttet Mile.

“Then, if all goes well, we plan to enter her in the 8 ½ furlong Ian Levy race in late December. These plans depend on Atomica staying in good health," Wehby informed Quickgallop.com.

The proud owner of the reigning Horse of the Year, then explained what will happen after the Ian Levy.

"Regardless of Atomica's performance in the Mouttet or Ian Levy races, I will be consulting with her trainer Gary Subratie and my son Nicholas to determine her future.

“The primary decision will be whether Atomica races as a five-year-old or moves onto breeding.

“Based on our consultation in late December, we'll make a decision about Atomica's future," Wehby shared with the website.
