KINGSTON, Jamaica – He is known for his dedicated approach to his profession as a horse rider. His strength in the saddle often distinguishes him as one of the most formidable riders currently competing.
On Saturday, October 7, 2023, Parchment entered the race day with 19 wins from 155 rides. He concluded the day with two additional victories, raising his total to 21 wins. His triumphs included the three-year-old maiden War Horse for trainer Andrew McDonald and a last-minute ride on Jason DaCosta's Phenomenal One.
On War Horse, Parchment was subjected to a long wait due to a stewards’ inquiry and two jockeys’ objections lodged by Tevin Foster, who finished second on Ship Ahoy and Anthony Allen the jockey aboard Princess Ria. However, after reviewing the replays, the stewards dismissed the objections and upheld the original race results.
In his unexpected ride on Phenomenal One, Parchment employed every ounce of his strength to initiate a stunning comeback down the five-straight course.
As a multiple Classic race winner, Parchment deserves recognition for achieving his current status despite a challenging start to his career.

Strong jockey just need to use the whip alot less unnecessaryly he is already strong in the shoulders therefore no need to beat his mounts unnecessary once his horses are going for him
