KINGSTON, Jamaica – The 11-race card at Caymanas Park started in bruising fashion for punters when the 15-1 chance Another Prosecutor got home in front.
Trained by Carl “The Cat Man” Anderson and ridden by the rejuvenated Kerry Gayl Robinson, Another Prosecutor disputed the early lead with the howling 1-9 favourite Task Force from the barn of leading trainer Anthony Nunes.
With two furlongs left in the four-straight event for maiden two-year-olds, Another Prosecutor started to stretch out with K D Rocket gaining quickly in the middle of the track.
In the final furlong Another Prosecutor pulled away from rivals to win by 1 ¼ lengths. K D Rocket running at odds of 4-1 was second with the prohibitive favourite Task Force occupying the third slot.
The winning time was 47.4.
