KINGSTON, Jamaica – In a display of his class and the added dimension of courage, Is That A Fact went into his reserve of strength to win the Caymanas, Saturday, September 16, 2023, ninth.
That winning effort came in Open Allowance at seven furlongs.
After taking the lead, jockey Reyan Lewis on Is That A Fact responded the best way possible by fighting to the end when consistently challenged by Blue Vinyl (Javaniel Patterson) in the two furlongs of the straight.
After a stirring duel, Is That A Fact won by a short-head.
It was the fourth win in a row for Is That A Fact, the fourth on the day for Lewis, and the third for trainer Jason DaCosta.
