KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Patrick Lynch confirmed his good form in recent times after scoring another win, this time with Money Marshall with jockey Delroy Beharie in the saddle for his second on the mid-week card at Caymanas Park. Lynch had earlierwon with oldster Talented Tony K.

Money Marshall (War Marshall – Money Maker) was contesting the fifth race which was a Maiden condition event for three-year-olds who have not earned over $250,000 since May of this year– the distance being six furlongs.

Beharie held Money Marshall off the pace before making a decisive move at the turn for home which resulted in Money Marshall gaining the lead at the top of the straight over long-time leader Prince Dominick.

Money Marshall pulled away but a determined Prince Dominick with Kerry Gayl Robinson in the saddle rallied and in a stirring duel over for the last half-a-furlong, Money Marshall prevailed by just a short head.

The connections of Money Market had to wait to get their victory after a stewards’ inquiry was posted as well as a jockey’s objection by Robinson. After evaluating the race there was no change to the order of finish.

Prince Dominick was second with Nez Perce third.
