KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Quick Galloper has analysed the impact of favourites on race days over the past three months (June, July, and August 2023).
In June, seven race days featured 66 races, with 29 favourites winning for a success rate of 42.93%.
July's five race days, affected by the dispute between the promoter and professional groups, held 46 races with favourites winning 20, a success rate of 43.47%.
In August, eight race days comprised of 77 races, and 39 were won by favourites, equaling a success rate of 50.64%.
Throughout these three months observed by The Quick Galloper, there were a total of 20 race days and 77 races. Of those races, favourites emerged victorious in 88 races, leading to a success rate of 46.50%.
