KINGSTON, Jamaica – Although Fearless Soul's career is still in its early stages, the three-year-old chestnut colt, trained by Philip Feanny, made a winning debut by comfortably defeating opponents in a 4-furlong challenge.
Bred by Soul Warrior out of Rumble, Fearless Soul is a half-brother to notable horses such as Further and Beyond, Above and Beyond, and Outbidder. He won his maiden race by 4 ½ lengths in a time of 47.2 seconds.
Fearless Soul demonstrated impressive speed at the beginning of the race but settled into second place behind Ship Ahoy, ridden by Tevin Foster, in the fast-paced sprint event.
The colt timed his moves well, and when jockey Kerry-Gayl Robinson urged him on during the final two furlongs, he effortlessly outpaced his rivals to secure victory on his first attempt.
Ship Ahoy secured the second-place finish ahead of Cookie Day N Night with Ameth Robles as the jockey.
