KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing down the five straight course in a Restricted Overnight Allowance contest, Sergeant Reckless on the outside throughout pulled away from Capturemyship to easily take the fifth event on the 11-race Gold Cup programme at Caymanas Park minutes ago.
Sergeant Reckless, running at odds of 2-1, provided the budding combination of apprentice Raddesh Roman and trainer Wayne DaCosta with yet another victory.
Second was Capturemyship (Shane Ellis 9-5) with third going to the 16-1 chance Night Light (Kiaman McGregor).
The winning time posted by Sergeant Reckless was 1:00.1.
