KINGSTON, Jamaica - Powerofherhighness showed her dominance in a Maiden Special Weight race for three-year-old native-breds, running a mile on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
Under the guidance of trainer and owner Oral Hayden and jockey Anthony Thomas, Powerofherhighness took control right from the start. She maintained her lead throughout, with Richie Rich, Crucial Alexxya, and Joblane trailing behind.
As the race progressed, Powerofherhighness picked up the pace, ultimately outlasting Richie Rich by three-quarters of a length to secure the victory. Tevin Foster's Mr. Senator finished in third place. The race concluded with a final time of 1:43.4 (25.2 x 48.4 x 1:15.3).
