KINGSTON, Jamaica – A poor start could not hamper 7-5 favourite Custer from winning the first of ten races at Caymanas Park on Sunday, July 9, 2023.
Skillfully guided by jockey Tevin Foster, Custer weaved his way through the field before taking up the lead at the top of the lane, winning by four lengths.
Custer is trained by Al Brown.
Custer’s win came in an Optional Claiming call ($550,000 - $450,000) at five furlongs round.
