KINGSTON, Jamaica - The Howard Jaghai-conditioned Badgyalriri registered her second win for the season from four starts in a native-bred five-year-old and upwards (non-winners of three) and imported five-year-olds and upwards (non-winners of two) travelling five furlongs straight.
Ridden by Jerome Innis, Badgyalriri railed at start giving rivals a clear advantage, as Prosecco (Samantha Fletcher), Queen Zan (Jordan Barrett), Chiney Music (Andree Powell), and Absolute Blue (Sadiki Blake) blazed the trail.
With nothing much to separate the leaders coming across the dummy rails, Badgyalriri was produced on the outside of runners in the final stages of the race, winning by three quarters of a length in a time of 1:04.0 (24.0 x 48.0). Finishing in second place was Morse Code (Anthony Allen), and capturing third place was Prosecco.
