KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Barrington Bernard, one of the recently graduated conditioners visited, the winners’ enclosure for the first time when his 47-1 upsetter Anngelos won the first of 10 races on the Caymanas, Saturday, June 10, 2023, card.
That event was run over seven furlongs for claimers in the $750,000 - $600,000 bracket.
To make it even sweeter for Bernard, his other charge in the race, Hecandance finished second, giving him a one-two finish.
Anngelos was piloted by Roger Hewitt.
