KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Paul Francis used his years of experience to earn victory atop the Ryan Darby trained Salud in the Caymanas, Saturday, June 3, 2023, sixth, a four-year-old and upwards maiden call at six furlongs.
Francis waited patiently on Salud as Heroine set the pace. He moved gently on the inside turning for home, and without the use of the whip came home easily for the win.
Salud was Darby’s second winner on the day.
