KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Norman Smith claimed winner of the first race Hecandance for owner Aston Ramsay for $400,000 from Anthony Nunes.
In the fourth race, Errol Subratie claimed Stallwalkin'girl for himself from Edward Stanberry, Junior Panton claimed Smarty Tradition for himself from Winchester McIntosh, Gary Griffiths claimed Doctor Grey for owner Gregory Stewart from Norman Smith, and Percival Hussey claimed War of the Roses for himself from Donovan Russell. All horses from the fourth event were claimed for $250,000 each.
Anthony Nunes claimed Ha Gow Siu Mei for owner Donald Plummer for $750,000 from Jason DaCosta from the fifth race.
