KINGSTON, Jamaica – The seventh race on Saturday, March 11, 2023, is an Overnight Allowance call for three-year-olds and upwards going the two turns of nine furlongs and 25 yards.
Seven horses are entered with The Quick Galloper’s assessment provided below.
1 – OUTBIDDER has displayed vast improvement in 2023, with two impressive wins from as many starts. This is Outbidder’s first attempt at this level going a distance that may be considered a trifle long for her against seasoned opponents.
2 – SISTREN TREASURE has not raced longer than 6 ½ furlongs in her five-race career. In her first attempt in the Overnight grouping, Sistren Treasure was put in her place after racking up two consecutive wins in the classes below. With that one run under her belt, Sistren Treasure will perform better, but a winning effort is not expected.
3 – SHE BOOM has no place among these.
4 – MARQUESAS gave a semblance of a return to his former self when finishing second (eight furlongs) on January 21. Raced once since then, and was way behind winner Runaway Algo Money Monster, and Crimson. With both Money Monster and Crimson again present, the task of winning by Marquesas is a difficult one.
5 – MONEY MONSTER has finished second in his two races in 2023. Now, against a moderate field, Money Monster is provided with the perfect opportunity of adding win number seven to his career column.
6 - CRIMSON has been searching to enter the winners’ enclosure for the longest time. The trip is perfect for Crimson, plus he is receiving weight from both Marquesas and Money Monster.
7 – SIR JOHN simply cannot manage these.
