KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Quick Galloper brings readers up-to-date on the progress made or lack thereof of the seven horses, who participated in the 2022 staging of the 6-furlong Hot Line Stakes.

The Hot Line is for three-year-old fillies at the non-winners of two level.

FIRST – Prncsshoootingstar won by taking the lead with Linton Steadman riding for trainer Philip Feanny. This filly has since the win in the Hot Line been on and off the track. She last won on January 2, 2023, over the five straight course in a non-winners of four contest, thereby making her eligible for the Overnight Allowance grade.

SECOND – Silent Mission has not developed as expected and has not been around for a while.

THIRD – A Gift From Ben is still trying to find her way through the classes.

FOURTH – Our Angel progressed well after her run in the Hot Line. She consistently showed a preference for longer distances, resulting in her winning the 10-furlong Jamaica Oaks, a race dedicated to fillies only. Our Angel has been racing consistently since the start of this season.

FIFTH – Fly Messenger Fly has tuned out to be one of the most raced horses at the track. She consistently finds a way to earn for her connections.

SIXTH – Rupunzel has been missing from action for a while now.

SEVENTH – Pelicula is still trying to find her way around while navigating through the classes.
