KINGSTON, Jamaica - Running with the blinkers on (Sat, Feb 25, 2023), Gracefully Made one shake to win a native-bred four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of two) and imported four-year-old and upward (maidens) event going 5 furlongs round (1,000m).
Ridden by Anthony Thomas for trainer Alford Brown, Gracefully Made broke off well, dashing to the front of the field. The four-year-old bay filly led Storm A Come (Jerome Innis) and Wowtastic around the half-mile (800m) turn before entering the straight, where she upped the tempo.
Gracefully Made kept her gallop well in deep stretch as she came home a winner by a length and a quarter. Storm A Come finished in second place with Unruly Dude (Raddesh Roman) earning the third spot. The final time for the race was 1:01.3.
