KINGSTON, Jamaica – Veteran jockey Aaron Chatrie completed a double coming down the straight course as he guided the Michael Beecham trained Lady Budget to victory in the sixth race on the Saturday card at Caymanas Park.
Lady Budget racing in a RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE V (5YO&UP/NW2) run over 800 metres straight at odds of 7-2, waited until the final furlong and a half before taking the lead and was never threatened thereafter.
Second went to Mrs Awesome at 9-1 with third the position of Lion of Judah running at odds of 7-2.
Earlier on the programme Chatrie won a five straighter on Lalala Bamba.
