Toona Ciliata gets back to winning ways

KINGSTON, Jamaica – After missing most of the Classic races and after getting a rest and a warm-up over six furlongs recently, Toona Cilita running at odds of 8-5, came from off the pace set by Bold Aflair and after a battle with foreigner She’s An Introvert was able to prevail by a neck in the end.

Trained by Anthony Nunes, Toona Ciliata will now be aimed for the 10-furlong Jamaica St Leger in late July.

Second at odds of 3-1 was She’s An Introvert with another foreigner Summer Sun third.

The 6-5 favourite and stable companion of Toona Ciliata, Universal Boss after taking up the lead with four furlongs to go faded away in the stretch to finish fifth.
