KINGSTON, Jamaica – The watch on the three-year-olds as the racing season moves steadily towards the Classic races, the Holy Grail for this age cohort.

The sixth race on Saturday, February 11, 2023, is another three-year-old maiden call this time travelling seven furlongs or 1,400 metres.

Eleven are entered with The Quick Galloper providing the analysis below in draw order.

1 – WAYNE’S PRINCESS is a bay filly (May 19) by Northern Giant out of Patara trained by Jason DaCosta with Robert Halledeen aboard. Slowly finding her way, will win shortly but not on Saturday.

2 – HOT STEPPER is a chestnut filly (March 13) by Hedge Fund out of Crème De La trained by Anthony Nunes with Oshane Nugent holding the reins. Highly touted on debut (January 15) finishing behind her stablemate Savvy Girl, and with the latter again present, Hot Stepper will be hard-pressed to win. She has, however, looked good in the mornings, thereby giving her the opportunity of making the board.

3 – BEAUTIFUL MOON is a bay filly (June 1) by Lion Tamer out of Sheyn V Di Levone trained by Gordon Lewis with Chalrick Budhai aboard. This newcomer will learn.

4 – PRINCESS TALISE is a bay filly (April 17) by Savoy Stomp out of Dancing Queen trained by Lawrence Freemantle with Christopher Mamdeen atop. Has developed into a consistent sort in her seven outings to date. Princess Talise is getting in the groove with a first win on the cards given time. Note, Princess Talise races with the tongue tie and the figure 8 on.

5 – SAVVY GIRL is a bay filly (April 9) by Savoy Stomp out of Runallday trained by Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster aboard. This filly has caught the eye being prominent most of the way in her last race track appearance 13 days ago. Savvy Girl gets the approval of the stable rider, another signal that she is coming to run.

6 – NOISY LADY is a bay filly (May 10) by Savoy Stomp out of Raise Your Voice trained by Keffin Murray with Trevor Simpson in the saddle. Races from a hot stables with a hot jockey in the saddle. Started her career well as a two-year-old but has gone awry since. This is going to be another testing encounter for this filly. Note, Noisy Lady races with the blinkers on.

7 – DE LYE LA is a bay filly (February 25) by Bern Identity out of Along trained by Ian Parsard with Dane Dawkins aboard. Heavily touted on debut (January 21), De Lye La did not perform as expected by her connections. Since then De Lye La has been making noticeable progress in the mornings, making her a live shot. Note, De Lye La races with the blinkers on.

8 – PHENOMENAL ONE is a chestnut colt (March 31) by Lion Tamer out of Darlin trained by Jason DaCosta with Phillip Parchment aboard. Ruined his first run (January 29) by breaking slowly out of the gates going 6 ½ furlongs, then he came on strong in the lane to finish third behind Roulette Boss and Savvy Girl. Given the extra ground to be covered, if Phenomenal One conquers his gate delinquency, then he has a great opportunity of winning.

9 – MPRS LINKS is a bay filly (March 29) by Admiral Alex out of Brewedtoperfection trained by Jason DaCosta with Roger Hewitt in the saddle. Did not catch the eye on debut 13 days ago, will continue to gain experience.

10 – SECRET ADMIRAL is a chestnut colt (February 12) by Admiral Alex out of Secret Cat trained by Carl Anderson with Bebeto Harvey in the irons. Reports from morning watchers suggest that Secret Admiral has impressed in his preparation for his debut run. The watchers are saying that Secret Admiral must not be ignored from winning on debut.

11 – CRUCIAL ALEXXYA is a grey filly (March 8) by Admiral Alex out of Crucial Cat trained by Carl Anderson with Carlos Blake in the saddle. This filly has no realistic chance of winning this one. Note, Crucial Alexxya races with the visor one.
