The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, 8 Winchester Road, Kingston 10, on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
Jockey ROMARIO SPENCER who rode CALL THE EMPEROR in the eighth (8th) race on Saturday, 3rd December, 2022 was fined Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) for the intimidation and interference caused to ASURETY in the vicinity of the 400 metre point, that resulted in the disqualification of CALL THE EMPEROR.
Jockey RAMON NEPARE who rode MAGICAL MOOD in the third (3rd) race on Saturday, 21st January, 2023 was fined Six Thousand Dollars ($6,000.00) for the intimidation caused to ZION leaving the 150 metre point.
