KINGSTON, Jamaica – Speedie Hare racing for the first occasion, lived up to her name by going to the lead in this three-year-old maiden contest and then pulling away in the final final furlong to win by a commanding 5 ½ lengths under the guidance of Sharon Townsend. Speedie Hare provided trainer Chris Pearson with a rare visit to the winners’ enclosure.
