RACE THREE – Journeyman jockey Javaniel Patterson earned his 18th win of the season by putting the Lawrence Freemantle-trained Nina Dorada in front and then proceeded to hold off rivals for a comfortable 2 ½ - length victory. It was win number 10 this season for Freemantle.

It was a day to remember who finished first and second in this race with Jamaican Storm filling the second slot. It was win number three this year for Harrison.
RACE FIVE – The well-seasoned eight-year-old bay mare Flowers Third put another tick in her win column with victory number six from 65 starts. For the winning rider, Matthew Bennet it was a continuation of his growth, win number 13 for the young man.
RACE SIX – Kay Boy guided by the ever-present Paul ‘Country’ Francis disturbed players in the popular Reggae 6 wager, winning at searing odds of 13-1. For trainer Dale Murphy, who is having his best season in his fledging career, it was win number 11.
