The Stewards announce the following disciplinary action arising from inquiry held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, 8 Winchester Road, Kingston 10, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
Jockey ROGER HEWITT who rode AWESOME RICH in the eighth (8th) race on Sunday, 16th October was suspended for one (1) raceday and fined Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00) for the intimidation and interference caused to LUKSOL in the final 300 metres of the race that resulted in the disqualification of AWESOME RICH. The suspension will take effect on Saturday, November 5, 2022.
