KINGSTON, Jamaica – QUICKGALLOP.COM shares with its readers some of the gallops done by the seven debutante two-year-olds. These two-year-olds will race in the BGLC | TOBA Sprint (five furlongs round) on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at Caymanas Park.
DUROCELL is a chestnut filly (April 17) by Soul Warrior out of Savanna’s Smile trained by Patrick Fong with Matthew Bennett in the saddle. On October 4, Durocell galloped five furlongs in 1:02.1, and then on October 10, galloped another five furlongs in 1:03.0.
MOJITO is a grey colt (March 26) by Savoy Stomp out of Fiftyshaesofray trained by Richard Azan with Dane Dawkins aboard. On Monday, September 26, Mojito galloped five furlongs with Perfect Brew in a time of 1:01.0. On October 2, again with Perfect Brew, Mojito galloped 5 ½ furlongs in 1:07.2. On October 9, Mojito strode three furlongs in 39.3 seconds.
MAMMA MIA is a chestnut filly (February 26) by Soul Warrior out of Princess Geeta trained by Jason DaCosta with Anthony Thomas aboard. Mama Mia galloped five furlongs with Pretty Girl on October 24, clocking 1:01.0. On October 2, galloping with Morse Code, Mama Mia clocked 1:01.0 for five furlongs (round). On October 11, the filly clocked 1:06.3 for 5 ½ furlong galloping with Pretty Girl.
LAMBO GIRL is a chestnut filly (April 12) by Admiral Alex trained by Wilfred Chin with Raddesh Roman aboard. On October 8, Lambo Girl galloped four furlongs in 49.2 seconds, finishing five furlongs straight (easy) in 1:05.3 seconds.
6 – HERE COMES KEN is a bay colt (February 16) by Here Comes Ben out of Sparkling Michaela trained by Winston Morris with Andre Powell aboard. No reports were obtained for Here Comes Ken.
9 – KISSMET is a bay filly (March 30) by Adios Charlie out of Holy Cowgirl trained by Steven Todd with Shane Ellis aboard. On, September 24, Kissmet galloped four furlongs in 48.4 seconds – finishing five furlongs straight in 1:01.4. On October 1, Kissmet galloped four furlongs in four furlongs in 46.4 second, finishing five furlongs straight along with Awesome Rich in a time of 1:00.3. On October 9, the filly galloped five furlongs round in 1:01.4 seconds.
10 – SHE’S MYHEDGEFUND is a chestnut filly (March 3) by Hedge Fund out of Thisgirlsisonfire trained by Jason DaCosta with Omar Simpson aboard. On September 24, She’s Myhedgefund galloped four furlongs in 51.0 seconds. On October 2, this chestnut galloped four furlongs in 49.3 seconds, and on October 8, She’s Myhedgefund galloped four furlongs in 49.0 seconds, finishing five furlongs straight (easy) in 1:06.1.
