RACE SIX - The claiming career of eight-year-old chestnut gelding Stanislaus went up another notch with his eleventh win from 68 career starts. A welcome return to the winners’ circle for trainer Greg Forsyth and apprentice rider Romario Spencer. 
RACE SEVEN – This two-year-old, 5 ½ furlongs call was taken in emphatic fashion by the Jason DaCosta-trained chestnut filly Thalita. Jockey Anthony Thomas aboard watched as Legit Boss (Dick Cardenas) set blistering splits on what was a fast track. Legit Boss carried the field into the lane, with Thomas piercing his way using his hands on the inside rails. In a driving finish, Thalita soared by to win by 1 ½ lengths in a fast time of 1:06.1. In doing so, Thalita became the first two-year-old this season to be successful in two races. Win number three for DaCosta. 
RACE EIGHT – Again it was the mastery of Shane Ellis and the love for two-turns by Calculus that brought victory number 10 from 24 starts for the horse. A more detailed breakdown of this race, the Royal Dad Trophy, will be provided in a separate article for readers on QUICKGALLOP.COM.
RACE NINE – After three attempts at non-two, Rainsville delivered for his connections coming from way behind guided by Dick Cardenas. It was win number two on the day for trainer Richard Azan. 
RACE TEN – Racing in Overnight for the first occasion, foreign-bred three-year-old filly Madelyn’s Sunshine, running like a scared hare, dismantled her opposition from the off by going to the lead. She then increased her acceleration in the final furlong winning by nine lengths in a fast time of 1:04.3. It was win number two on the day for jockey Anthony Thomas, and the fourth for trainer Jason DaCosta.
