KINGSTON, Jamaica – The third quarter of the current racing year (July 1 to September 30) saw the percentage of claiming races during the period remain close to the percentage of the quarter before.
In the third quarter a total of 212 races were offered by the promoting company with 61 of those races being claiming events for a claiming percentage of 28.77 per cent.
The above third quarter figures compare with figures of 217 races offered in the second quarter of which 65 were claiming races for a percentage amount of 29.95 per cent.
