KINGSTON, Jamaica - The obviously talented Americans, Stranger Danger and Hilly’s Halo face off in what is expected to be a thrilling and mouth-watering clash on tomorrow’s 10-race card at Caymanas Park.
The two foreigners lock horns in a 6 ½ furlongs (1,300 metres), Open Allowance contest.
Quickgallop.com looks at the chances of the six horses in this event.
DRUMMER BOY – strong and is a fighter but cannot handle these horses right now.
ANOTHER VIGOROUS – coming off a long break. Another Vigorous has had his problems but has enough class and willingness to upset the foreigners. Another Vigorous will not have an issue with the trip of 6 ½ furlongs as he has already won going 7 furlongs twice. A capital effort is in store from Another Vigorous.
SECRET TRAVELLER - has been facing the starter very often this season and although a tough sort cannot be considered in this one.
STRANGER DANGER - Comes into this race with a record of five wins from five starts. Stranger Danger packs a lot of class as evidenced by his clocking of 1:17.3 over 6 ½ furlongs on March 6. Now he faces probably his most competitive test to date and should Stranger Danger succeed here, he is going to be quite a handful in the top class.
BIMINI – A winning effort is not on the cards.
HILLY’S HALO – Made a welcomed return to her top form on last over 5 ½ furlongs. In this one Hilly’s Halo is racing very light, in fact, she is about 17 pounds lighter than Stranger Danger and this might give her the edge when this one is being decided.
