KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was an enterprising race day (Saturday, August 27, 2022), at Caymanas Park for several astute punters.
Leading the way was the sole winner of a testing Twilight 6 wager (races 5-9), which curdled most of its participating bettors.
That lone astute and fearless individual was able to mark on his bet the winner of the fifth – Fyffes Pen Liz at searing odds of 37-1.
As if that wasn’t enough for this loner, spotting the winner of the nightcap (nightcap), Great Trick at screeching odds of 86-1 was much more than the icing on a $4 million betting cake.

While the Twilight 6 was the betting highlight there were also two winners of the Placepot 8, with each taking home $500,737.
The popular Reggae 6 wager produced five winners with each pocketing $681,320.
