KINGSTON, Jamaica – Derby winning jockey and current leader in the jockeys’ championship Dane Dawkins will have a rather busy day on the ten-race card (Saturday, August 13, 2022) at Caymanas Park.
Dawkins will be riding in nine of the ten races on the day. The only race he does not have a mount is in the first event.
Champion jockey Anthony Thomas, who is currently in second place behind Dawkins in the race for the jockeys’ championship honours has secured seven rides on the day. Also, on seven horses are 2019 champion Chris Mamdeen and the current red-hot apprentice Roger Hewitt.
Six-time champion jockey Omar rides in two races, four and five.
