Exacta pays $1,362
KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was a topsy turvy Sunday (April 3) race day for THE QUICK WHISPERER.
THE WHISPERER in a pre-Sunday race day preview listed three horses to follow; Sir John, Berlino’s Choice, and Nuclear Noon.
Sir John was a disappointment, and the same was true for Berlino’s Choice.
Of Nuclear Noon, THE QUICK WHISPERER wrote in the preview: “NUCLEAR NOON races in the high octane ninth, which is an Overnight Allowance call for three-year-old and upwards horses coming down the five-straight course. Of the 12 horses entered, three Roy Rogers, Nuclear Noon, and Billy Whizz are coming down from Open Allowance, the others are a mixture of Overnight regulars and those who are new to the grade. THE QUICK WHISPERER gives the nod to Nuclear Noon mainly because of his familiarity with the distance. Nuclear Noon should be bought to win and in an exacta box with Billy Whizz and Jordon Reign’s, as well as in the trifecta.”
Well! Well! Well! Nuclear Noon won at odds of 5-1 for a winning payout of $327. Of much more significance, Billy Whizz finished second at odds of 2-1, with the exacta paying $1,362.
IT PAYS TO LISTEN TO THE WHISPERS!
